Individual counselling

I offer individual counselling and psychotherapy to adults and young people (16+).

Sessions are usually one hour long and take place weekly; I offer sessions

in person from my comfortable and private therapy room in my home in Scissett, or

online from the comfort of your own home, via video link using Google Meets, or

"Walk and Talk" outdoors and in person with a gentle walk.

Sessions are usually one hour long and take place weekly; however I am flexible about this and together we can explore your needs and arrange a set of sessions that works for you.

Free initial 30 minute consultation

I appreciate how difficult it can be to find a therapist that you feels right for you.  I therefore offer a free introductory meeting (up to 20 minutes), online or over the phone.

This allows us to meet each other and experience how if feels to talk together; you can ask me any questions you might have and we can start explore what brings you to therapy.

We can then decide together whether we feel we are a good match to work together.

What can counselling help with?

Counselling can be helpful in exploring anything that might be causing you concern or difficulty in your life.

As a person-centred, humanistic counsellor I work with you to explore and make sense of your experiences and difficulties at a pace that works for you.
